Withholding Tax

Dear Valued Partners 🥰,

We trust this message finds you well and that you had a pleasant break.
In line with Nigerian government tax regulations, please be informed that a 5% Withholding Tax (WHT) will be deducted from all commission payments due to you.

Kindly note that tax compliance will be strictly enforced from 2026. As part of this requirement, all sales partners are expected to submit a valid Tax Identification Number (TIN) OR National Identification Number (NIN) via Here on or before Thursday, 8th January 2026.
How to obtain your details:

1. TIN:
Visit the nearest Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS) or State Internal Revenue Service (SIRS) office with a valid means of identification (National ID Card, Driver’s License, or International Passport) and a utility bill for address verification. Upon successful processing, a TIN printout or certificate will be issued.

2. NIN:
Dial *346# to retrieve your NIN.

Please be advised that any partner who fails to provide a valid TIN or NIN will be subject to a higher WHT deduction of 10%, as required by law. All deducted WHT will be duly remitted to the appropriate tax authority.
To ensure seamless processing going forward, all sales partners will be required to include their TIN or NIN on all Land Republic forms.
